Trustees are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs.
Successful candidates will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an organised and supportive manner. You should also have an understanding of inclusive education and working with young people who have disabilities and learning difficulties. Candidates must be confident in supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
The Palmer Catholic Academy is a very successful over-subscribed 11-18 mixed, voluntary aided, comprehensive academy in the London Borough of Redbridge. Although a Catholic academy, we welcome applications from Catholic and non-Catholic applicants.

CPD
The Palmer Catholic Academy offers a diverse range of CPD activities that meet the needs and requirements of all staff at various stages of their professional career. Professional Development Groups allow staff to opt in to sessions that focus on particular areas of pedagogy to deepen understanding and share good practice. Opportunities are also given to emerging leaders to lead on various initiatives across the academy.

The Palmer Catholic Academy is ideally located with excellent transport links for both buses and trains (Elizabeth Line - Seven Kings Station - 12 minutes from Stratford). Good local amenities.
