The Governors of Westholme are seeking to appoint a Principal from April 2025, or earlier by mutual agreement, pending circumstances. This will be a tremendous opportunity for a passionate educationalist with creativity and energy to help lead one of the most dynamic schools in the North West of England. Inspirational leadership abilities, outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence in all its forms will be essential.
The appointment of the new Principal comes at a special point in the School’s history. Westholme has just enjoyed a wonderful year, celebrating its centenary in 2023 and being recognised for its outstanding work through the award of ‘Independent School of the Year’ for its careers programme. Governors have set a clear strategic vision for the School, building on our many past successes and strengths, whilst simultaneously planning for a sustainable future for our next 100 years.
