Job overview

Job role

We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional pupils. We are currently looking for a creative, reflective and resilient SEN Teacher to work with our pupils who experience a range of needs including SEMH/ASD. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing and implementing the curriculum for all learners to ensure pupil progress, and the needs and interests are met for learners with SEMH difficulties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and adventurous teacher to join our Outstanding school. At Quorn Hall, teachers are encouraged to take learning beyond the classroom and utilise our beautiful grounds and the wider community to bring learning to life.

Your experience

Experience working with children and young people who have special educational needs is essential. You will have a broad knowledge of strategies used for building and sustaining positive relationships with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and those who have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder. Although this is a secondary post, it would also be suitable for a primary school teacher with the correct skill set.
