Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of History (maternity cover) to join a High School based in Winchmore Hill, Enfield.

The High School seeks to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join their strong and successful History Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and committed teacher to join a school that works collaboratively to get the very best from all pupils. The successful candidate will teach History across the age range in the Senior School and will be expected to contribute to the school’s extensive range of extracurricular activities.
The post is currently available as a 0.8 timetable (4 days) commitment. A full-time role would be considered for a candidate able to offer a second subject such as English, Drama or PSHE. The post (0.8) will initially be for a fixed term for the academic year 2024-2025. There may be the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The school welcomes applications from those currently teaching in either the maintained or the independent sector.
Interviews are anticipated to take place from the week commencing 29th April.
