My name is Alan Reid, I am 20, coming 21 in Feb 28th and live in Northern Ireland. I was once a Special needs student suffering from Aspergers Syndrome, using pictures instead of traditional learning to teach myself what others know today after secondary school. I also suffer from ADHD but only mildly. I am an avid lover for innovative learning which consists of using new and available technology to help students learn via interactive learning. I also believe that education needs to be gamified appropriately. It is to my belief after researching this area of education, that it is only logical to make education more interactive; as it engages the students with technology they are motivated in using and then gamifying the experience so it keeps students loyal to the system but only enough so there desire to learn is met. My aim is to research in ways to make education more interactive and how to appropriately gamify the whole education experience.
