I am Lin Hinnigan, Interim Chief Executive at the Teaching Agency until 3./9/12. Professional background as an educational psychologist. Worked in Local Authorities before joining the Civil Service in 2000 and working in a number of government departments. From 2008 was Director of Strategy at the General Social Care Council. In 2010 joined the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency - chief executive for the last two years of its operation. Currently responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of the work which is continuing from the former organisations – TDA, GTCE and CWDC and for establishing the new agency with a key role in supplying and improving the quality of the workforce to support the learning of children and young people.
