Cleo
Cumbria and Lancashire Education Online (CLEO) is a collaboration between Cumbria and Lancashire County Councils providing high-quality connectivity for all schools across Cumbria and Lancashire, creating freely available online educational resources and offering a range of additional services supporting the use of broadband technology for learners and teachers in the classroom and at home. CLEO, together with the 9 other English RBCs (Regional Broadband Consortiums) and partner organisations in the devolved administrations, exclusively delivers the National Education Network (NEN), a dedicated provision shared by schools, harnessing the power of broadband technology to deliver unique content and services. CLEO received a Bafta award in 2008 for its work on the ArtisanCam website.
