I have been a Chemistry Teacher, a Head of Chemistry, a Head of Science in a Science Specialist School.I have been an Assistant Director of Specialism (never did find out what that meant, nice acronym though, ADiOS.) I have also been a Form Tutor in every year group and a Head of House. I have been a learning coach, an ITT & GTP & NQT subject mentor, though thankfully never more than two at any one time. I have been a subject examiner, coursework moderator and coursework adviser. I have delivered courses on coursework and written some useful guidance materials for my Departments, so they tell me. All in all, I have been privileged to see a lot of excellent artisan teaching over the years.
