100 acre mosaic of moor, woodland, heath, grassland and wetland at the Catterick Garrison near Richmond in North Yorkshire set up by Royal Scots Dragoon Guards in 1992. Our educational resources include an excellently equipped Field Centre with two 15-20 person activity rooms and bunk room accommodation/ kitchen. Also, an outdoor classroom, 3 bird hides, pond dipping platforms & an observation beehive. Excellent disabled access to all facilities and almost all of the reserve.
