Since graduating from The University of Bath, with a degree in European Studies: French and Italian and a PGCE in 1979 , I have worked in both the state sector and the private sector, mainly teaching French. I have taught some Italian and German and I have also worked in EAL departments . I have been an examiner for GCSE boards and also taught evening classes and have done private tutoring. I have been an HOD in a large comprehensive . As a sideline and because I liked and used their products, I ran a website selling Posterpals products for 8 years.The fact I called my website ` Languagesrfun` tells you about my attitude to language teaching . I love it . I retired in 2014 , still do a bit of tutoring and marking for GCSE exam boards and have recently become a governor in a local two state nursery federation.I volunteer in one of the nurseries and serve on the Teaching and Learning committee.I have taught in Secondary,Middle and Primary schools during my career.
