I trained as a primary teacher - and qualified at UWCN in 1994. I embarked on a career as a supply teacher, which suited me and I thoroughly enjoyed this. I taught every age from nursery to Y6 and then eventually obtained a position teaching SEN (primarily pupils with dyslexia, but also dyscalculia), in both primary and secondary. From there I moved into a specialised unit based in a larged secondary school, where I remain. I teach a variety of subjects, but mainly maths KS3.
