British Red Cross humanitarian education resources help children and young people make sense of the world and change it for the better. By exploring crisis situations, they recognise that people, including themselves, are not helpless. They develop understanding of humanitarian issues and the skills that build individual and community resilience. The resources fit within citizenship, PSHE, RE, history, geography, English, politics, media studies, Learning for Life and Work, and the Curriculum for Excellence.
