- Alternatively - and especially if you're looking for topics beyond the national curriculum - you can use the keyword search.
- But if you're just looking to see the types of resources available for your subject and age range, you might prefer to browse.
- Finally, if you come across any items you feel should not be on the site - tell us about it.
How to Rate and Review Resources Once you've found a resource, you can tell other users what you think of it. To add your views, click on "rate it" in the Reviews box. You can assign a star rating, and a review. But remember, your review must not breach our terms and conditions. You cannot review your own resources. Copyright Remember Resource Bank terms and conditions state that any material you are uploading must be your own. Also, you should only take material from Resource Bank for your own use, as it is intended. While the vast majority of Resource Bank users respect this, you might want to protect your uploads with one of the copyright licences freely available for public use on the Creative Commons website . The following article by a copyright lawyer and an author's account of protecting copyright might also be helpful. Both were commissioned by The TES in 2006. Privacy If you are concerned about keeping personal details such as your school name or local authority separate
from your registered username, you will need to make sure that these details do not appear on any files you
upload or link to, which can usually be done by adjusting the file properties. Keeping Track of Your Resources The TES Resource Bank allows you to build up a library of your favourite resources. Everything you have added or downloaded is listed in the "My Resources" box. You can also track what other teachers think of the items you've uploaded. If yours is a popular resource, it's likely to feature in the Top 10 Downloads displayed on the Resource Bank homepage. Finally, if you find a brilliant resource, why not tell your colleagues about it - just put their address into the "Send to a friend" box, click and they have it. We hope you find the Resource Bank useful, and enjoy exploring its features. Once again, we're keen to hear what you think of it - tell us here! |
