Anti-Bullying Assembly

(14)
I delivered this to Year 9, 10 and 11 this morning and I had a good response. I have the same assembly on Friday with Year 7 and 8 and I am planning on delivering it without any changes. I hope it is useful. You will need to personalise it but basically I spoke about bullying in society, the bullying review and then personalised it to my school. The pledge and standing up worked well.

This is a really nice activity for having an individual response to an exam or test. The sheet can be printed out in a different colour and glued into exercise books.

We have used this very effectively in tackling bullying when it occurs.

Hallowen theme, but focuses on conquering fears. Two video clips used as well (a little bit of swearing in coach carter that you may want to adjust the volume on).

We use these in our after school detentions where students are not allowed to complete their subject work - all detentions are centralised, and all students complete a reflective written task.
