Then, in the manner of a code, use the answers to find the 'Mystery Word'. Recalculating the sheet (pressing the 'F9' key) will create a new worksheet with a different solution.

In this worksheet the students use a ruler to connect the letters of the alphabet in sequence. When completed they should have a twelve pointed star. They may then wish to attack them with colour and/or scissors.

What is in the Mystery Box? An activity for the Interactive Whiteboard. A random box is selected, and clues are given one at a time as to what it contains by clicking on the cards. Teams or individual students try and guess the contents in as few clues as possible. The earlier you guess correctly, the more points you get. We use mini wipe boards so that when someone wants to commit to a guess they write it down and hand it to the Quizmaster (we call this 'Lock Down'). When everyone has guessed, click on the Mystery Box to reveal its contents. There are ten Mystery Boxes in each session, but the contents will vary each time you play it. I hope these instructions make sense!

A worksheet to help students think about what money they should hand over at the till, and what change they should expect. Every time you open the worksheet, or refresh it (press F9) it will have different figures.

A student spins the arrow and it will point at one of six possibilities: "1. I am happy when.../2. I am sad when.../3. I am a good friend because.../4. I get worried when.../5.
