I created this planning for our topic of stories from fantasy worlds. I have a mixed KS1 class which includes reception, yr1 and yr2. I am an NQT and so this is a working progress. Any suggestions welcome!

I developed these tick sheets as a way of recording and monitoring progress within guided reading. A good way to show progress and track coverage. These have been helpful during moderation visits too. Please leave feedback.

As part of my training to become a SENCO i have developed a new way for recording and tracking progress for children with SEN. This has now turned into a Learning Diary. The first step is to fill in the one page profile with the child and agree on some targets. Then we use the parent interview form to include parents views and opinions in the process. Once targets are agreed they are entered into the target proforma. These targets do not have a set review date as they will continue to evolve and change. We then use the learning log as a way of evidencing progress and interventions. Once a child has complete a target they will receive a certificate which outlines the target achieved and sets out a new target. This is a way of keeping parents in the loop. The SENCO will review each child's personal learning diary at the end of the term and conduct an interview. Have also included a Power Point presentation used in a staff development meeting. This medium term plan is designed for a KS1 class. The main focus is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. This is my first attempt at this unit and I really struggled to find helpful resources so I hope this is of some use to others. Comments welcome!

I have recently been on training about how make our children more globally aware. This was a starting point for a session with KS2 children. This generated some great discussion and encouraged them to be open to other children's ideas and opinions. Could be used as one session or maybe several.

I have created a set of decimal SATS questions taken from the 2017, 2018, and 2019 KS2 Arithmatic and reasoning papers.
