These are a selection of sensory stories I have done with my SLD/PMLD class of teenagers. All the resources should be easy to find and pretty cheap (my design criteria!). Hope they are useful to some of you.

Sensory story/poem written for my secondary age SLD/PMLD students based on the famous poem “For the Fallen” by Robert Laurence Binyon. It contains the famous lines "They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old…" Sensory experiences are linked to the poetry, all of which should be cheap and easy to find (my design criteria!).

Some more sensory stories that I have used with my SLD/PMLD class of teenagers. I will try to get these more organised and listed separately but for now wanted people to have access to them. All the resources should be pretty easy to come by - it’s one of my criteria when choosing them, and I’m sure they can be creatively adjusted to suit other students and home learning.
