The plenary is a singing plenary (frozen), the students use their mini whiteboards to give answers, if the answers are correct, then part of frozen will play to them.

Rounding to nearest 1dp, 2 dp and 1sf

(0)
This lesson is aimed at lower ability students or students that have not done rounding before. There is a complete lesson, with a main activity. The best way to do the main activity, is to cut the 'post if notes' and either stick them in groups (essential questions together, excel questions together etc) around the room, or put them in piles around the room. Students then get an answer grid that they fill in when they pick up a question and answer it. Students need to check what question number they are answering and which level of challenge to make sure they answer in the correct box. There is a tip sheet that can be printed and again put around the room for students wanting to complete to 1sf. Answers are provided and students can write a strength and target following on from that. There is a singing plenary to finish with. This is where students are asked a question, they are to answer it on their mini whiteboards, if they get the answer correct, part of family guy will play.
