The activity requires no prior knowledge on the subject for students and has been designed to encourage students to walk in the shoes of Refugees for a moment, so that they can begin to understand and empathise with some of the situations faced by Refugees when leaving their homes. The kids really enjoy this one!

Good for group and jigsaw activities - groups of students become 'experts' on different religions by reading one of the civilization handouts. Each group then teaches the class about the religion of the civilization they've read about. Alternatively individual students from each group can re-group with other students and share what they've learnt with smaller groups.
