This revision booklet deal looks at both Medical Ethics and the Human Relationships parts of the B603 unit from a Christian perspective. It doesn't include the Poverty and Wealth topic which is also included on this paper. However, as candidates only need to answer questions from two of the three topics this will cover what they need in order to pass. It has been pointed out to me by a colleague that I've missed divorce out and so there will be an updated version of this in the future. Providing feedback is positive I'll post revision booklets for the other units as and when they're completed.

This is aimed at students in year 11 about to sit the old specification AQA GCSE Psychology (4180). There is a comprehensive revision booklet (each 8 sides along apart from RM which is 12 sides) for each of the five sections of the exam- Memory, Development of Personality, Non-Verbal Communication, Stereotyping, Prejudice and Discrimination & Research Methods. I've included questions from past paper wherever I've felt they were useful as well as exam tips.

This is the updated and shortened version of the revision booklet I uploaded last year. It's more directed towards the style of question that come up on the J621 exams. It covers Medical Ethics and Human Relationships as I don't bother with Section C which is the poverty and wealth section. Revision sheets for B601, B602 and B604 will follow by the end of February 2011.

This is a powerpoint presentation that does what it says on the tin! I've also included a worksheet which has been recommended to me by one of the new OCR PEs as an ideal resources to use to get students thinking in an evaluative way.I intend to use the powerpoint and plan in one leasson and get them doing a test on this and other evaulation questions in a follow-up lesson. Twelve mark evaluation questions should take in the region of 12-15 minutes to write in exam conditions.

A couple of powerpoint slideshows to summarize the Xian beliefs about heaven and hell. They are best used in conjunction with a video such as "What Dreams May Come". This constitues as much as 4 lessons work for the less able students whereas the more able can be given extension work such asresearching further Bible refs on heaven and/or hell.

This is a revision sheet that I give out to a class in the week prior to giving them a test on abortion.

This is a useful lesson for exploring issues of crime and punishment and the reasons for punishment. It involves group work where the students are giving 6 case studies and asked to preside as judges and decide which punishments should be given for the offences and why. It also has a slide showing the different punishments available and finishes off with some Biblical quotes. Originally created for an RE lesson but could be easily adapted as a citizenship, Sociology or PSHE lesson.

A stand alone presentation that can be used in conjunction with YouTube clips or documentaries on child poverty or ageism. I’ve also uploaded this as part of a bundle of 5 presentations on Social Inequality.
