Simple and easy powerpoint to teach my Y5/6 the subjunctive form. Including sound clip of Beyonce Vs Bieber, to show that even celebrities are using the subjunctive incorrectly! Sound clip should automatically play when the slide is presented, but uploaded it just in case!

A powerpoint showing key events in Tudor history including births and deaths of Henry VIII, Mary I, Edward VI and Elizabeth I. Also includes Henry VIII's marriages to his 6 wives and their divorces/deaths. Alongside this I added dates for Spanish Armada, dissolution of the monasteries and some Drake/Raleigh discoveries etc.

An outline of the events during the dissolution of the monasteries. Including the pilgrimage of Grace and brief explanation of a monastery and the life of monks/nuns etc.

I used with my Y5/6 class during our water topic. They asked to look at oceans, so in a lesson we looked at how they were made, why they are blue, why they are salty, the difference between a sea and an oceans, waves, tides and tsunamis. A lot to do but they wanted to know it! we also located the different oceans on maps and in atlases.
