These are all of the Musical Terms for each Musical Element presented by Eduqas in the Music GCSE Revision book. This PDF can be used as a teaching resource, revision or as a display. The key terms are listed under each Musical Element to further the knowledge of the students to meet the requirements of the course.
**A music quiz to round off all the greatest hits from 2022-23. **The quiz is split into 6 rounds with 10 questions in each (answers at the end):
1. Beat The Intro - listen to the short introduction and guess the song
2. Movie Music - listen to the main theme from a film released in the last year
3. The Voice - guess the voice of the artist from a song they have covered
4. TikTok Crazes - guess the song from the viral videos
5. AI Music Artist - guess the famous music artist from their AI portrait
6. Songs in Reverse - guess the song being played in reverse
This resource comes with the PowerPoint (with all videos and audio tracks cut and faded) and a Quiz Sheet for students to fill out their answers.
This quiz should probably last around an hour but you could also split it up across lessons to shorten it or play extracts again to make it longer. Suitable for Years 7-13.

There’s emphasis on the MUSIC part of Christmas but this can be used across the curriculum.
It’s fun for all ages! Tried and tested on Year 7s and Year 13s who equally love it in their final lessons of the year.
The quiz can last up to an hour (or more, depending on how long you want to give the students to complete each round). You could split the rounds across different lessons as a starter or plenary activity to get students in the Christmassy spirit!
