Starts with a literacy task that builds on previous knowledge of constructing triangles. Pupils are then given instruction cards in teams and they must be able to complete all 5 constructions and become an 'expert&' in one area. Pupils must then complete more challenging questions which are colour coded by difficulty. Students end on a back to back with one person explaining and one person constructing the angle. Tutorials included if needed for a teaching episode.

I laminate the set of questions and give them out to teams, they then must answer them as a team and hand them in. Instructions are on the pp with some examples to go through if needed. I created this resource for my low ability year 10's (I have used other peoples slides and apologise for not crediting them).
The activity book allows them to investigate pythagoras theorem for themselves and discover the link between a, b and c. Once started, pupils can move through the activities independently, although the powerpoint allows for more teacher-led episodes if needed

A recap I used with top set year 9. Pupils must first complete the area question and then move onto surface area questions where they find out how much cardboard it takes to make the package. They must then find out the cost of this.

Differentiated relay cards on solving equations. Each 'team&' given card one, and then exchange for card two when their answers have been checked or when they feel they have finished.
Best if printed onto 3 different coloured card so can easily see which groups are working on what sets.
