The powerpoint gives suggestions and ideas how to embed effective marking into a curriculum with a heavy focus on extended writing (i.e. will not work with maths etc).
Provides an insight into what effective feedback is, as well as realistic and time-saving ways how to do it in the classroom.
Some ideas have been adapted from others so please ask for credit where credit is due
Detailed Rivers scheme of work, perfect for KS3 and KS4.
Includes: water cycle, drainage basin, lower/middle/upper course features and landforms, regular exam questions, sentence structure support sheets, mark schemes, and up to date case studies. Also includes end of topic assessment and revision broadsheet. Majority of tasks differentiated very well.

A scheme of work on Energy, focusing on the decline of non-renewable resources, fracking and managing resources. They are comprehension style tasks with texts to each and tasks to complete after, with peer assessment opportunities. Also comes with two A3 revision broadsheets for pupils to put the entire topic onto.

This is a revision booklet (concise text) for the topic of energy, resource management, and fracking. It was created to provide students after being taught the Scheme of work (which is also available in my TES shop) to aid revision.

Possible exam style questions for the following topics from the new 9-1 Edexcel B Geography GCSE. These are copied from the green Oxford textbooks.
1. Development Dynamics
2. Challenges of an Urbanising World
3. UK's evolving physical landscape (coasts only)
4. Fieldwork (coasts only)
I don't own any of the content - simply copied and pasted from spec etc etc.
I printed the two A4 sheets and laminated onto A3 (See picture). This was a great tool for years 9, 10, and 11 parents evening. The last section can include upcoming trips or the GCSE fieldtrip info (you'll need to edit).
Informal lesson observations or lesson 'drop ins' are extremely useful to see teacher and student teaching/progress.
This sheet can be printed on card and taken into lesson drop ins with you to complete instantly. Provides an opportunity of positive, instant and non-judgemental observations and feedback.
Can be personalised for schools too.

A thrilling enquiry lesson where we pretend we're on a class adventure. Students 'board' the plane as they enter the room (completing a boarding pass), then explain their journey throughout their plane journey and landing to the tropical rainforest. Students have an information sheet and success criteria on the board to complete a series of task.
Worked extremely well for our department with lots of praise from students raving about how fun it was during parents evening a week later!
The spreadsheet allows you to add data for all 3 papers for your students who have sat the full June 2018 GCSE papers (as mocks). I’ve used the same grade boundaries as last year +10 more as a buffer for all papers.
It’s designed for all 3 papers, but you can easily just use it for the papers you’re doing for your mocks. These are all based on the June 2018 papers.
If you copy and paste the class data (name, target grade etc) into the first tab (paper 1) then it should automatically copy it across to the other tabs.
