I created this lesson for a successful interview. Lesson focusing on Multiple/Repeated percentage change - specific focus on understanding that increasing by 10% twice is not the same as increasing by 20%. Lesson involves non-calculator method and use of multipliers. Most challenging sheet includes past GCSE questions. All answers provided. Starter test prior knowledge. Mini plenary. Plenary is past GCSE questions. SEN sheet based around football included too.

A full lesson’s activity based on the popular ‘Escape Room’ activity. This escape room has 6 activities, each with a helpsheet for differentiation. Each activity produces a code which pupils need to collect to add to their I’ve cracked the code sheet. All 6 codes need to be collected to unlock the code and ‘escape’ the room. 2 of the activities are not uploaded as they were 2 tarsia puzzles I had already, but there are pictures of the activities on the notebook file (as answers) to provide the questions if you wanted to recreate them yourselves - or just tweak those 2 activities and codes to suit your classes! All files are editable for you to adjust as necessary. My year 7s absolutely loved this and it’s so engaging for the lower sets further up KS3. Could also be adapted for upper KS2 level too. Please leave any feedback or ideas of how you changed it up to improve it! Criticism welcome :) Enjoy :)

Each paper has around 30 questions, each one appears on the revision list for Paper 1F. Questions are all past exam questions taken from Exam Wizard or if not found there, Mathsgenie or CorbettMaths practice question sets. Markschemes included. You will receive all 6 fully editable word files, plus each Paper and corresponding markscheme in a PDF file.
