A fun PPP to engage the class and an activity worksheet that can be adapted to suit your needs.

This is a PPP that contains two writing tasks. It breaks down the features of AFOREST, giving examples for each and some with short video clips. This worked excellently in my class and they produced some fantastic pieces of work for the tasks. I used it in my Year 5 class, but it would be suitable for any age from Year 4 onwards.

This is an investigation that I did with my Year 5 class. The students were really engaged and it involved a lot of ‘hands-on’ work. You can even make it a competition between different groups or differentiate it to suit your class dynamics.

This resource contains a video as a visual provocation for grammar revision points- verbs and adjectives.

Use the powerpoint to introduce the different features of a civilisation. The students can make links between the different features. They then cut and stick the different text boxes with the pictures that show how the different features are linked together.

This pack contains four lessons. It uses visual literacy whereby students watch a video and apply their understanding of verbs, adjectives, nouns and sentences from the lessons provided in a workbook that supplements them.

This PPT shows students how the Ancient Egyptians wrote numbers up to 1000. It contains a lesson starter game, PPT for teaching and a differentiated activity with two extension tasks. It worked very well in my class! Suitable for KS2.

This is a complete resource that demonstrates all 12 PYP attitudes in a powerpoint presentation with a video clip for each one. It also comes with complete exercises to follow.

This resource is differentiated three ways. It looks to check students' understanding of the permeability and durability of different types of rock. They must apply their knowledge to building materials and explain their reasons for their choices.

This is a differentiated resource that gives students problems to solve whereby they must use partitioning for both addition and subtraction.

This is an example of a good and a bad non-chronological report. Students can correct the bad one, highlighting what is missing.

A newspaper plan for my Year 5 students. It is set up for children to write notes as to what they would like to include and where.
