A fully differentiated lesson with an extension on expanding brackets. Each section is also differentiated with negatives or coefficients being at the end rather than start of the question which throws a lot of students off balance. I had been observed teaching this lesson and received very positive feedback about planning, covering misconceptions and differentiation.

A full lesson with answers provided throughout and 3 level differentiation. The lesson keeps referring to paperclips. I will normally get a pot of paperclips and take 2 out or put 4 in and ask students to write down the expression. Students usually race with the answer and find it very enjoyable.
