Pupils can stick this in the front of their books so that when you put A, E, P in teh margin (followed by a comment and / or focus for improvement) they can also check off your marking codes against the sheet and suggest their own targets.

This resource begins with our attitudes towards antiques and old people and what value we place upon them. It then makes the comparison to the Bible saying that just because something is old does not mean that it isn't valuable or have something to teach us. There is a match up task on a worksheet where students are given 5 (or 6 - can't remember) life situations with a Bible quote that might help someone in that situation. Extended written task is to write into a newspaper agony aunt with a problem and they have to use the Bible quotation they are given to think of a problem that someone might write in with and how they would answer it using that quotation. There are levelled outcomes.
