This is my second assembly script for the Vikings topic. I performed it with a Year 3 class. Script and lyrics are my own, although half a poem is taken from Horrible Histories. Skill ladders showing what skills the average pupil would achieve by the end of each KS2 year. I have created skill ladders for Inquiring, Creating, Communicating and Operating with each skill separated into Lower, Middle and Higher difficulty. The document explains which level of skills an average attaining pupil from each year group should be (full explanation inside). If this is useful, you are welcome to take it and use it, however I would very much appreciate feedback on whether you feel the skills are in the right places.
