This set of worksheets shows how each mathematical operation is used a cross a wide range of real life and mathematical circumstances. For instance, addition is used to find perimeter, or totals of money, or to combine fractions. Multiplication is used for area and scale. The PDF can be printed used as a book, seperate sheets or as a set of work cards that can be used in the classroom as fillers when children have finished a piece of work.
