“Bluebird, Bluebird” Folk Song & Game: Kodaly Music Lesson

“Bluebird, Bluebird” Folk Song & Game is a traditional Kodaly Music Lesson to teach half notes. In this simplified version using only the FIRST VERSE (Please check out the preview) I’ve included visual and audio materials that are projectable and printable. It’s also a game song you can play with Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It’s one of my favorites! You’ll get a diverse set of materials to provide a variety of ways to encourage learning and practicing half notes, quarter notes, joined eighth notes, beat and solfege. The teaching video, audio and presentation files as well as color posters and flashcards and black/white versions will help you give your students a variety of learning opportunities to develop beat, rhythm and pitch/melody skills. Best for K-2.
