A PowerPoint to explain the concept of 'one more than' made for Reception learners. The jar starts with one sweet in it, but by adding 'one more' on each slide builds up to ten...until a hamster (not sure why I used a hamster :-s) comes along and eats the sweets one by one to familiarise the childr More…en with counting down from 10 to 0 or the cocept of 'one less than...'
