The first page shows the completed story map. On the other pages you will find 9 pictures to use with the empty mapping page. I pre-cut all the pictures and groups worked independently to stick and create a map of the story themselves. I differentiated the number of pictures they needed to sequence and also provided speech bubbles for some children - they enjoyed writing dialogue for the characters. When finished, they used 'talking tins' and verbally retold the story into the recording devices which we played back in the plenary.
