This document contains some beautiful photographs of bears at different times of the year. I've explained a little of how we used these pictures with our Reception classes - using them as a sorting activity to create a yearly 'life cycle' of a bear from hibernation in Winter, to emergen More…ce in Spring, then hunting season in the Summer ready for the preparation and search for a place to hibernate in the Autumn. The children really enjoyed this activity and went on to make life cycle wheels of their own with their own drawings on paper plates :-)
