This is a spreadsheet that looks like the APP assessment guideline sheets for English levels 1 to 5. A column is available next to each level descriptor in which 3 rows of evidence notes can be added. As each successive row is filled in, the level descriptor is shaded an increasingly dark colour. Th More…e colour coding can be altered to suit your preference using the Excel colour palette.
Simply copy the template sheet for each child you wish to add to the workbook. Change their name and date of birth and add evidence codes to form your assessment. Set the print area to the appropriate set of levels and you can print out a page that looks just like the framework document. At present the font size on print is a little small, but personally I prefer to work on screen.
