Last updated 24 September 2011, created 19 May 2011, viewed 3,952

The task covers much of the last section with regards to C1b syllabus. It requires students to travel back in time to different time periods of the earth's history and study the various conditions in which they are in. They need to look at the atmosphere, environment, the life forms that are pres More…ent at the time and consider if humans would be able to live in this time period. It is a group activity which then links into practice exams questions.

This is a FANTASTIC idea - saved me from delivering a 'boring lesson'. Am going to try and tweak to include some of the prebiotic soup ideas and link to Miller Urey which is in the new AQA syllabus. Many thanks!
