This lesson was based on the work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The Powerpoint is the INTRO and then the children designed their fruit face! They then made them using real fruit! I have also included a PowerPoint of the finished faces to give you some idea of what the children achieved!

This is a fantastic resource and I am using some ideas in the Italian classroom. The children have learned about the weather, seasons and are now looking at seasonal fruit & veges that will lead them to an introduction of G. Arcimboldo as the cultural component of the lesson. They'll have fun painting a portrait inspired by G.A.
thank you so mush.
Super, thank you very much
Thanks - very helpful!
Brilliant ideas and resources. Especially liked power point of children's work. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm a student teacher and looking to do an Art lesson around fruit! This has been a great resource and given me tonnes of ideas about this and further activities! Thanks!
