Teaching tool for addition and subtraction facts up to twenty using animated penguins.The penguins jump between two icebergs to show addition facts for the given total. For subtraction facts the penguins dive off the iceberg into the water below.A number line can represent the number facts. Likewise More… a calculation can be shown with various parts hidden. Please note this activity work best in a modern browser, best work in google chrome.

This activity works perfectly on an iPad, I like the way it can do both the addition and subtraction facts. The idea of the penguins jumping into the water for subtraction is great.
