Pictures of a selection of alcoholic drinks. I have laminated these, then put them randomly up on the board. Pupils are asked to arrange them in order of the amount of alcohol contained in each drink. They can also place in order of calorific content or use as a 'play your cards right' game. Answers are given.

Thanks, I'm going to use this for teaching about alcohol in Primary - just to get them to think about how strong different types are. This has saved me a lot of time - and a lot of money too, as the other option was to bring in a collection of empty cans and bottles.....

This may be a good numeracy opportunity. One unit of alcohol is 10 cm3 of pure ethanol. Get the students to check the data provided lots are wrong. Compare against http://www.drinkaware.co.uk/tips-and-tools/drink-diary/
