A very good powerpoint, the videos are especially useful and certainly grab the attention of the class and get them discussing issues surrounding religious fundamentalism. However I think there is a mistake - Slide 9 says that Creationism was banned, when that is what the Bible Belt states wanted to teach. Surely it was Evolutionism that was banned?

This is a detailed view of religious fundamentalism and the monkey Trial. There are a number of interesting images to spark the pupils' imagination and a variety of tasks including starter and plenary. The clips are interesting and sure to get a reaction but must be downloaded in advance if your school filters Youtube!
