Ancient Egypt Song: “The Curse Of Tutankhamun”

Overall rating 5 out of 55 (6 ratings)

“The Curse Of Tutankhamun” is a warning to us all should we ever be tempted to open a Pharaonic tomb! The lyrics of the song cover the opening of the tomb, the curse itself but also questions the traditional understanding of the curse's impact! This is one of a number of songs I've written a More…bout Ancient Egypt. Feedback would be appreciated! If you would like a free copy of all ten songs (and a backing track CD) email me at donnajminto@yahoo.co.uk or send me a PM. For more info visit my web site at www.notablesongs.co.uk.

Thank you! Adds another dimension to teaching the facts which kids will probably remember far longer than anything else!

Fabulous! Used the song in our Yr3 Egyptian assembly. I cannot play an instrument or read music, but having the song recorded both with and without the words meant that we had all the resources we needed to learn and perform the song with ease. The children loved the song and found the notes easy to hit.
