These are companion worksheets to go with the book Music: An Appreciation by Roger Kamien. (You can get a copy very cheaply second hand from Abebooks.com) Although I'm sure they'd be useful used in conjunction with other texts. The listening examples are from L'Orfeo by Monteverdi. A great book More…for score examples and analysis (for older years) is Opera in Music by Elaine Brody. I welcome feedback on all my resources as I'm still a trainee teacher and would appreciate input from experienced teachers!
