A TESiboard ( http://tesiboard.co.uk ) activity to sort by size and/or colour. Ask pupils to sort the initial 3 bears. How many groups will they use? Then add bears one at a time to the screen and ask pupils to group them according to the same criteria. Either focus on colour combinations or, more s More…imply, use size as as a key criterion. The random size button will resize all bears on the screen into 3 categories - small, medium and large - ready for pupils to re-sort.

Useful interactive resource for counting and sorting. Good when used in conjunction with the ideas and suggested objectives on the Word document.
