Sanga, from Bhutan – one of the poorest countries in the world, lost his sight from a vitamin A deficiency when he was eight. Despite this disability he has a positive outlook and thinks that had he retained his sight he wouldn’t have achieved all that he has. The pdf file contains lesson plans and activity ideas.

A though-provoking and stereotype challenging clip. Sanga has a very positive outlook and explains how his disability has meant that he has travelled and become the first physiotherapist, rather than staying at home looking after animals! Brilliant role model.
