Absolutely fantastic resource - the students found the maths fairly zstraight forward but extracting the ideas from the text was a challenge which they need much more practise with - do you have any more like this? Thank you for sharing.

A nice activity based on a variety of topics in maths and brought together in one activity about bonfire night. It requires pupils to use a repatoire of skills they have learnt to answer questions. I like this as it could be used as paired/grouped activity and comes with answers for ease of planning.
