This is a sample of a series of worksheets for the first 10mins of every lesson which are designed to teach students, during listening exercises, to be able to describe, using key words, the music they are listening to. This knowledge is then easily transfered to other areas of the curriculum. I use them in the following order: With definitions Without definitions Categories only Empty lined sheet

Nice Idea, I'm letting the best behaved pupil from the previous lesson choose the song, this helps me learn a little about their music taste and shows them I'm interested in their music aswell.

I love this idea; great work. keep kids listening to music. I am running a new music appreciation course for our students and this will come in really handy! Great!
