There are grammatical errors as compound sentences do not use subordinating conjunctions. Compound sentences use co-ordinating conjunctions: for,and,nor,but,or ,yet and so.

Nice idea. Unfortunately only not all the conjunctions listed as coordinating conjunctions are coordinating conjunctions. Conjunctions like 'if' and 'because' are subordinating conjunctions. Clauses beginning with these are subordinate and sentences containing them are complex, not compound.
