An investigation into working conditions faced by children in the mills. Uses a variety of written and picture sources to allow students to answer the question 'Did life change for the better for child workers?' Designed to be used with pp 24-25 in SHP Re-Discovering History 1750-1900, but works as More…a stand-alone. Video referred to on slide 15 found by following the YouTube link given. Accompaying worksheet on usefulness of sources presented in slides.
