I prepared this for my Y3 class for our topic Places of Worship. We focussed on the Christian Church and visited our local church to reinforce it and explain that each church has the same artefacts but they can look very different. Backed this up with a guided visit with the Vicar who helped to ex More…plain what each was used for. Followed up by hot seating the Vicar and Curate about their different and similar roles within the church.
