Card sort of five equations for students to complete - all five are represented in word and symbol equations. Students make water, copper oxide, copper sulphate, carbon dioxide and sodium chloride from the provided cards. Could be simplified to be just the word equations. Can also be used as a recap More… for GCSE - what do students remember from KS3. Students can work in pairs or alone to complete the card sort.

Thanks, this gives me a good idea of what to do in a lesson tomorrow. You need to edit the sheet to include the formula for copper sulphate as well (unless you intended to have coper monosulfide to make it easier).
